Not every zone uses daylight saving time, and not every offset change is seasonal. This checker reports transitions present in the installed database for the selected year.
How to read a transition
The list is built by scanning the selected year at hourly steps and refining the first instant an offset changes. If names in the database look like daylight versus standard, that is noted. Otherwise the row stays “Offset transition detected.” Background: DST explained.
